BRADLO HILL – DOBRÁ VODA VILLAGE

StefanikTrail2014-9-Start-Bradlo

Follow the red official tourist mark all the way of the stage 1.

The challenge of the first stage: 75:25 forest / asphalt ratio. Even that the course will be well marked by our plastic flags, make sure you always know where is the official tourist marking. It is because some of the race marking can be removed by accident or by purpose by some local trail running "lovers”. Technically it is possible to cheat and shorten the path, therefore, there will be some “dead check points” installed and you need to pass them. These points will be visible enough and you will be disqualified if you miss them. Follow the red official tourist mark all the way of the stage 1.

StefanikTrail2014-25-pri-Dobrej-vodeGood news: There is a minimal risk to get lost on this stage. Ultra runners will run this stage during the day light. Thanks to the reflex tapes that mark the course in the night, it will be much easier for relay teams to follow the path during the dark night after 11 p.m.

Good advice: We will do maximum for your comfort, however be prepared, that the aid station in Dobrá Voda could be a bit crowded due to the starting race. This first stage will be quite fast especially for relay teams. It will be the most challenging aid station for organizers to manage logistics in order to help runners to spend minimum time at the controlling and refreshment point. Please be patient and fully respect all coordinates from volunteers. Especial discipline and patience is required form crew and relay team drivers. Please, understand that you will be approaching the Dobrá Voda in the time of an official “public quiet” and therefore respect all advices and requests of volunteers. Please, do not do mess and noise by cheering up the runners at this aid stations. We want to have the best relations with citizens of Dobrá Voda and want to return next year. There might be a police assistance for use, please, be cooperative at maximum level.
